Message from the President

We will develop new products and technologies that are considerate of safety and the natural environment, and will proactively take on the challenge of strengthening and transforming our business.

The Company has a lengthy history of meeting the needs of society as a civil engineering and construction-related company since its establishment in 1967. We are sincerely grateful to all our stakeholders for their support and patronage, which has enabled us to grow to this day.

The Group works to achieve growth through unceasing efforts based on its management principles of “Highest Reliability,” “Highest Technology,” and “Highest Integrity,” while also examining ourselves from the perspectives of “Environment,” “Society,” and “Governance,” and working with our stakeholders to achieve a sustainable society.

Under these principles, we aim to achieve ongoing enhancement of our corporate value through “Sustainable Business Activities.” We also respect human rights and comply with laws and regulations, and as a member of the local community, we contribute to the building of a society of affluence and safety.

Going forward, in effort to gain even greater trust and expectations from our stakeholders, the Group will continue to develop new products and technologies that are considerate of safety and the natural environment, and will proactively take on the challenges of strengthening and transforming our business.

Sustainability Promotion System (Establishment of Committee)

The Group believes that a corporation has the social responsibility to address issues pertaining to sustainability, and that working to solve social issues through its business activities promotes corporate growth and contributes to the realization of a sustainable society.

To that end, the Group is currently working on sustainability management that takes into consideration environmental and social issues, strengthens governance (ESG), and works to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and leads those measures to its own growth.

The Group has established a Sustainability Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) to proactively address sustainability issues within the Group.

The Committee formulates sustainability policies and strategies, monitors progress, and evaluates achievements.
The Committee meets regularly (twice a year, in principle) and the Board of Directors manages and supervises the policies and strategies based on reports from the Committee.
In accordance with the “Sustainability Basic Policy,” the Group pursues overall sustainability-related initiatives with the Representative Director and President of CONSEC serving as the Committee’s chair (responsible person), and the effectiveness of this system is ensured through appropriate evaluation and supervision of the status, results, and effectiveness by the Board of Directors.

Sustainability Declaration (Corporate Code of Conduct)

The Group recognizes that a corporation has the social responsibility to address environmental issues such as global warming. As such, it proactively engages in environmental conservation efforts through its business activities while also contributing to the achievement of a sustainable society, aiming to become a “100-year Company” that balances these efforts with economic growth.
To that end, the Group works on sustainability management that takes into consideration environmental and social issues, strengthens governance (ESG), and works to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and leads those measures to its own growth, with the aim of sustainable enhancement of corporate value.
